24Xero Studios - 1 Year Anniversary!

It's the 1 Year Anniversary of 24Xero Studios. It was on July 24, 2014 that I decided to name my future video game/graphic design company to 24Xero Studios.

April 24, 2006 was the first time I used the name 24Xero when I opened my Steam account when I installed Half-Life 2. Number 24 is my lucky number, and my birthday is on March 24. The name Xero comes from Linkin Park, and every LP fan knows the meaning of the name.

Xero was the name Linkin Park had at the very start before they were called Hybrid Theory, and before they became known as Linkin Park.

I will hopefully start making content for my games and design different kinds of prints for T-shirts and other stuff very soon. And I really want to start to paint again, both with acrylic and digital art.

I have many ideas that I want to realize. That's one of the things I've been doing since last year, come up with ideas. I have over 40 game ideas! I think it's a good start. Some of the gaming concepts are more difficult to implement than others. So I'll start with the ones I think I can handle. It will probably be a game for mobile.

I've three game engines that I'm going to try. It's Unity 5, Unreal Engine 4 and Construct 2. The latter is the one I'm going to start with. Because I don't know how to program. It will take too much time to learn, and it will just make me frustrated.

I'm thinking that visual scripting will fit me better, even though it can be difficult as well. There is a third party visual scripting extension for Unity3D called PlayMaker. Unreal Engine 4 has its own visual scripting system called Blueprint. And Construct 2 is an HTML5-based 2D game editor that's aimed primarily at non-programmers. It uses a visual editor and a behavior-based logic system.

That's all for now. Keep a lookout for more news on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and here on the official website when it launches.
